1980's Modernist Verner Panton style "Moon" table lamp. Features a chrome base with fanning plastic strips which can be rotated around an axis, creating an atmospheric effect which reminds us of the half or full moon.
Space Age Pop Art design of the sixties. The overlapping, biomorphic ‘Moon Lamp’ design was made popular by leading designers such as Verner Panton, Henri Mathieu and Hans Agne Jakobsson.
The mid century lampshade is formed of concentric acrylic slats that have been fitted to the chrome circular frame and stand. The beauty of this piece is that the tessellation and brightness of the light can be increased or decreased by adjusting the acrylic circles.
Dimensions: Stands 15” high and consist of a chromed metal base and 12” diameter frame
